Balfour Beatty Construction, in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an Interiors Project Manager to join the Special Projects Group. The Special Projects Group works on Interior finish-out & renovation projects in the local Charlotte area. The Project Manager is responsible for assisting in managing all administrative and technical requirements for construction projects as they relate to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials set-up/updates and schedules, to ensure projects are completed in a safe, profitable, quality and timely manner.  Maintain constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer needs and expectations.

  • Promote Customer and Community Relations 
  • Foster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee Development

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Five years or more of experience in Interiors commercial construction project management. 
  • Two or more years of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management. 
  • Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.). 
  • Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports. 
  • Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s). 

 Preferred Requirements

  • Local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Interior commercial construction or corporate Interior backgrounds. 
  • Experience managing multiple smaller projects and clients, highly desired.
