Role Summary/Purpose

The Finished Goods fulfillment Leader will support the plants within the region on material prioritization with warehouses, internal plants and external vendors, balancing inventory and partner with the IS Customer Excellence organization to provide updates on current quarter jobs.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Finish Goods Fulfillment Leader, you will:

  • Be responsible for Regional Production Planning: work with plants and suppliers to meet customer fulfillment and target inventory levels
  • Assure the plant load is sustained to meet PSI plans when orders are cancelled, reallocated or moved out
  • Partner with the regional factories and warehouses to fulfill customer needs by ensuring finished goods lead times, finished goods, safety stock
  • Partner with the Forecasting and Planning organization to execute forecast, STOs, and SOs
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes to minimize inventory while maximizing on-time delivery on Finished products
  • Coordinate Master schedule with plants and prioritize lines to be shipped by the factories to meet customer needs both internal (warehouse, other factories) and external (external customer) prioritize lines to be shipped by the factories to meet customer needs both internal (warehouse, other factories) and external (external customer)
  • Align to customer service in your region and handle customers for current quarter pacing
  • Share Global Supply Chain risks and opportunities for business level pacing
  • Process STO and forecast to plants based on supply / demand situation demands, forecasting (ie. Build Plan), engineering inputs, and other system signals (eg. schedule hold report)
  • Manage short cycle demands, customer emergencies and expedite past-dues, urgent demands or special customer requirements  with factories
  • Facilitate RIP inventory management with the plants by acting on cancellation requests, supporting other inventory optimization programs
  • Lead weekly pacing metrics with plants (tactical and strategic)
  • Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader / manager assigns verbally or in writing


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years in sourcing, planning, or logistics

Additional Elgibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

  • Technical / engineering experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent Quality certification
  • Familiarity with any integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional and multi-task environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving, creativity, and process management
  • Team player attitude
  • High energy, self-starter, ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) graduate
  • Ability to handle emergency and stressful situations
