We are currently seeking a Equipment Operator to join our growing team! 

Position Overview:

The Equipment Operator I is considered to be an experienced operator of heavy machinery who reports to the Service Center Manager/Regional Manager and can operate a variety of equipment utilized in the construction, environmental services or remediation industries.  The Equipment Operator I must be able to perform all duties in compliance with appropriate company and OSHA safety procedures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion and potential exposure to adverse weather conditions.
  • Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in construction, environmental services and remediation activities.
  • Maintain and properly use all equipment issued by the company. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to manager.
  • Maintain the required training elements of the position to assure proper execution and industry knowledge.
  • Must maintain a spirit of cooperation and teamwork at all times.
  • Must participate in daily and weekly safety meetings with expectations of adhering to the job specific and company safety policies.
  • Properly complete and submit company forms including but not limited to expense reports, timecards, etc.
  • Must be willing to work beyond normal work hours. Must be available for night time and weekend work.
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to operate skid steer, mini/small excavator, rubber tire loader, articulating dump truck, water truck and compactor.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting/manual labor
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER
  • 1-3 years construction/environmental services/remediation heavy equipment operation experience

Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
